On this page are some more examples of simple cartoons used for Louw Redelinghuys's training programmes for workers.
Rugby player
This poor rugby player is anticipating a ball being passed to him. Konrad thinks he's rather optimistic*.
The company value portrayed here is "anticipation".
Rugby is a wildly popular sport in South Africa, so we believe many people will relate to this cartoon, especially because most of this company's workers are Cape Coloureds.
*Konrad reckons he must've been inspired by his cricket match experience at age 11, when, after waiting forever for the ball to be batted his way on the field, it finally happened, only for the ball to hit Konrad on the head instead of falling into his hands.
Come to think of it, that incident would explain a lot about his scatter-brained nature. Either that, or he was dropped as a baby. His rugby career was also short lived, but we won't get into that now ;-) Oh hell, OK, he was 8 years old and scored a try on the wrong side. Now you know his most embarrassing stories.
Huge brain
The cartoon speaks for itself – this guy must be clever, I mean his head is bulging!
Levitating monk
We think this one's very funny. The company value portrayed here is "growth," as in personal growth, which leads to company growth.
This Buddhist monk is levitating, and he must be high up on the ladder of personal growth, but he seems to have mastered telekinesis too!
Anger
Not much to say about this one *grin*. Value portrayed was"understanding", heh heh .
