Caricatures

Caricature (noun): A picture, exaggerating the peculiarities or defects of persons or things.

As a caricature artist, Konrad often gets requests for retirement gifts, general corporate gifts, farewell gifts or wedding anniversary gifts in the form of caricatures that summarise how company staff or significant others see that character.

Our clients are from all over South Africa, especially Cape Town, Bellville, Durbanville, Johannesburg and Pretoria. We even have clients in London and Vancouver, Canada, so send us your photos and leave the rest to us!

Example of retirement gift: Godfather

Client: Cape Oil

Cape Oil, producers of sunflower oil etc., asked us to draw a caricature of a top manager who was about to retire. It was his farewell present.

We were given a few pictures of the manager, affectionately known among employees as "The Godfather", for his love of gambling and always having something up his sleeve when it comes to business. If you look closely at the full caricature, you'll see oil dripping from his sleeve.
